Online Therapy
This is for anyone who would like to meet with their therapist online or by phone call. We offer online therapy to individuals, couples and families. You will meet with one of our therapists online with our Jane video platform for your appointments.
Psychotherapy is a type of treatment that can help individuals experiencing an array of mental health issues and emotional struggles. Psychotherapy can help not only alleviate symptoms but also identify the psychological root causes of one’s condition so a person can function better and have enhanced emotional well-being and healing.
Sessions are typically held weekly or bi-weekly for 50 minutes. Psychotherapy can be short-term (a few weeks to months), dealing with more immediate challenges, or long-term (months to years), dealing with longstanding and complex issues. The goals of treatment and duration and frequency of treatment are discussed with the client and the therapist together.
Both client and therapist need to be actively involved in psychotherapy. The trust and relationship between a person and their therapist is important for working together effectively and making gains from psychotherapy.
In-Person Therapy
This is for anyone who would like to come into the office and speak with a counsellor in person.
